The Charity Carnival《海韵献爱心，温情满天下》, (Hai Hun Brings Love & Care) organised by Hai Yun Production (M) Sdn Bhd and co-sponsored by various business organisations, will be held at the Tropicana City Mall on 27 & 28 November, 2010. It is hoped that this charity carnival would create awareness from the corporate world and general public to come forward and help the underprivileged. Funds raised from the charity carnival will be donated to the Klang Handicapped Children Centre.

The Klang Handicapped Children Centre is home to children with different kinds of disabilities, i.e. mentally handicapped, deaf and mute, physically disabled.

The centre does not have sufficient budget to maintain its monthly expenses of about RM30,000. Moreover, the centre is unable to provide a comfortable living space to its increasing number of inhabitants. So, the centre is raising funds to build a home for the children, so that they would have a healthy and happy living environment.

Answering this call is Hai Yun Production (M) Sdn Bhd, who will be launching a Charity Carnival. All funds collected will be donated to the Klang Handicapped Children Centre.

Rose Chan, an artiste from Hong Kong, who learned about the activity, said she would collaborate if there is a need. Hence she was appointed as the Charity Carnival’s ambassador. There is no doubt about Rose Chan’s love towards children. She called from Hong Kong to enquire about the children. She even requested to meet the children in person, so that she would know better about their needs. Her request was fulfilled in September, when she flew from Hong Kong, bringing along mooncakes to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival with children of the Klang Handicapped Children Centre.

Rose Chan would be presenting theWing Choon martial arts together with students from SRJK Kwong Han at the Charity Carnival. Children of the school are now practising hard so as to perform their best.

Meanwhile, local artistes also show their support towards this charity carnival., Besides being entrusted with the task of being the charity ambassador to promote charity culture and do her bit for charity, Malaysian song writer cum singer Ma Jia Shen will lead a band called Junior to present songs and dances dynamically,lovingly and caringly . The two-day charity carnival will also feature different kinds of performances with the themes of love and care by local artistes. The artistes include Mandy, Pei Jet, Reno, Hau, Celine, Vick and Serene. The Charity Carnival called upon the general public to show their love and care by taking action to care for and support the needy.

Meanwhile, in collaboration with this charity drive, Didadee urges the public to donate generously through SMS. For donation of RM5, key-in ‘PPKK5’, and for donation of RM10, key-in ‘PPKK10’ and send to 36113. Your donation will be channelled to the Klang Handicapped Children Centre.
