Do you have what it takes to out-rage a fire? To put your fire safety know-how to the test, you can sign up for the Fire Safe Shop-A-Hunt to be held on June 13 at Tropicana City Mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The event for all ages is organised by Fire Prevention Council Malaysia (Fipcom) and the Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur, the local chapter of JCI Inc, a world wide federation of young professionals and entrepreneurs.

From 9am to 12.30pm, participants in teams of three to four persons will take part in a treasure hunt while children will attend a fire escape workshop to be led by fire safety professionals. there will also be puzzle games and drawing competition. At 1.00pm, paticipants will be treated to lunch before the event ends.

Grand-prize winners will stand to take home cash and Tropicana Mall vouchers amounting to more than RM2,000.

The registration fee is RM80 a team and each team will be entitiled to one unit of Fipcom fire extinguisher (retailed at RM59.90), one unit of a self-contained smoke alarm (RM69.90) and a goodie bag consisting of Home Finder Magazine, discount vouchers from Tropicana City Mall outlets as well as breakfast and meal vouchers from Bad Ass Coffee.

Be there by 9.15am sharp as breakfast will be served right after registration.
