Petaling Jaya, 28 July 2010 - Have you registered for the Sunshine Girl Contest?

In order to allow more girls between the ages of 15 to 21 to have a chance to participate, Metro Sunshine Girl Contest have extended the registration closing date to 5 August 2010. Therefore, grab this opportunity and submit your registration form.

The national finals will be held next year.

The regional Sunshine Girl Contest will be held at seven regions nationwide, with the national grand finals slated to be held in Kuala Lumpur. All seven champions from the respective regions will be invited to the grand finale on 9 January 2011 which will be held at Tropicana City Mall.

The champion, first runner-up and second runner of the Sunshine Girl grand final will be awarded with scholarships worth RM60,000, RM50,000 and RM40,000 respectively. Other prizes include cash, Canon cameras, Estee Lauder product hampers, jewellery from Poh Kong and many others.

Besides the main prizes, there are also four consolation prizes for The Most Talented, The Most Personable, The Smartest, The Most Photogenic and The Best Hairstyle prizes to be won.

The Most Photogenic will receive a photo printer sponsored by Canon, while the Best Hairstyle winner will become one of the monthly models for Hair Zone Studio.

If you are a Malaysian between the ages of 15 to 21, please submit a headshot photograph and a full length photograph (4R) taken in the recent six months, together with a photocopy of your MyKad and the registration form and email it to:
