TREASURE hunters can look forward to a thrilling race against time to seek out hidden clues, solve riddles and win prizes in the ‘Mega Sale’ Beginner’s Motor Hunt, organised by Tropicana City Mall and Trailblazers in conjunction with Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2010.

The half-day motor hunt will be held on July 24 at 8am at the Main Atrium, Ground Floor of Tropicana City Mall.

From there, it will be up to each team’s puzzle-solving and navigation skills to follow a series of witty clues that are placed around the mall and in Klang Valley.

The treasure hunting team that manages to decipher all clues and finish in the fastest time will be named the winner.

The first place team will walk away with the grand treasure of RM1,500, RM500 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers and Body Shop hampers worth RM500.

The second winners will be given RM1,300, RM500 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers and Body Shop hampers worth RM450.

The third spot team will receive RM1,000, RM500 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers and Body Shop hampers worth RM400. Prizes will also be given to the rest of the seven teams that make the top 10.

Mega Sale Beginner’s Motor Hunt is open to teams of three or four hunters, with one hunter as the driver, one as the navigator and the passenger as the clue seeker.

However, those who came out as the top seven teams in any “open hunts” organised in Malaysia from March 1 to May 31 will be not eligible to take part, so as to be fair to amateurs in this novice hunt.

A registration fee of RM65 per hunter is required, and each will receive a goodie bag. There will also be a dinner after the hunt.

Registration forms can be obtained at Tropicana City Mall’s Information Counter located at Ground Floor, Main Atrium.

Registration closes on July 17, or when the motor hunt reaches its maximum capacity of 70 cars registered.

A hunt briefing for all participating hunters will take place at the mall on July 22 at 7.30pm.
