TROPICANA City Mall in Petaling Jaya in collaboration with the Fire Prevention Council Malaysia (FIPCOM) and Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur (JCIKL) will organise "Fire Safe Shop-A-Hunt" for young children and parents during the school break.

The event will be held on June 13 from 9am at the Main Atrium, Ground Floor of the mall.

Participants will be hunting for a number of clues that are based on the various outlets in Tropicana City Mall in order to complete a set of tasks.

Young firemen: Tropicana City Mall's Fire Safe Shop-A-Hunt will take place on June 13.

Children from each team will also get to do fun mini challenges such as word searches, jigsaw puzzles, fire safety-related games and quizzes.

The team to finish the hunt in the shortest time and with the most correct answers will be named the winner.

The winning team will walk away with RM500 cash and RM500 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers.

The first runner-up team will receive RM400 cash and RM400 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers, while the second runner-up team will receive RM250 cash and RM250 worth of Tropicana City Mall shopping vouchers.

There will be an additional 30 special goodie bags sponsored by ING to be won under the children category.

Fire Safe Shop-A-Hunt is opened to teams of 3 or 4 persons, with two adults and one or two children aged between 4 to 12 years.

Registration fee is RM80 per team, and each team will receive one FIPCOM Fire Extinguisher (worth RM59.90) and one self-contained Smoke Alarm (worth RM69.90).

In addition, each participating member will get goodie bags consisting of a Home Finder magazine and discount vouchers from Tropicana City Mall outlets.

Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided before and after the hunt.

Registration can be done at the FIPCOM booth on the 1st floor of Tropicana City Mall, located next to Indulge Restaurant.
