Transformers fans get their skills tested

IN CONJUNCTION with the release of the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) organised a roadshow at the newly-opened GSC Tropicana City.
A total of 30 participants took part in the Transformers Speed Challenge Contest. The participants were pitted against each other to transform the Transformers toys in the shortest time.
In the grand final, 12-year-old Ian Tan showed his mettle by beating closest rival, 27- -year-old Bryan Lee by 10 seconds to win the top spot.
He walked away with a Transformers leader class toy – Optimus Prime, a set of movie posters, T-shirt, key topper, car sticker, laptop sticker, GSC movie vouchers, Kelloggs cereal and Energizer gift pack.

As for Lee, he did not go back home empty -handed as he won some attractive prizes, too.
The rest of the contestants were also rewarded with premiums such as Transformers car stickers, laptop stickers and GSC complimentary passes.
Besides the speed challenge contest, the Transformers fans had the opportunity to win movie passes and movie premiums in the Q&A sessions.
Later in the evening, the Transformers character, Optimus Prime made a special appearance for photo opportunity with fans.
Foong said in a 2005 plan presented by the developer, the islands were supposed to remain while the landscaping was to be improved.
