A CLOUDY morning recently saw hundreds of winners of the recently held 'Shop & Win Contest' registering for their Tune Money Prepaid Visa Cards worth up to RM50,000 at the Tropicana City Mall (TCM).

The prize presentation ceremony for the contest took place at the mall's Main Atrium at 11am.

Tropicana City Mall and Tune Money collaboratively ran the contest from Jan 15 to Feb 13 in conjunction with the pre-Chinese New Year celebration.

The contest acted as part of Tropicana City Mall's ongoing efforts to reward its frequent shoppers, and at the same time encourage smart spending via the Tune Money Prepaid Visa Card prizes to minimise unwanted credit checks, late fee charges or debts.

Shoppers who spent RM200 and above at any of the outlets in the mall during the contest period were eligible to submit one contest form and answer two simple questions to be in the running to win the attractive prizes.

The 'Shop & Win' Contest proved to be an instant success with the shoppers at the mall, receiving an overwhelming response throughout the contest period. Submitted forms with the correct answers were randomly drawn to reveal the winners.

Lucky shopper Tan Jun Yang, a 20-year old student was named the grand prize winner, walking away with one Tune Money Prepaid Visa Card worth RM10,000.

A beaming Tan received his prize from Tune Money Loyalty & Retention manager Jacqueline Yew and Tune Money head of cards Megat Kamarruddin.

The elated Tan shared his plans of donating a part of his winning money to charity, while the rest will be used as a shopping treat for his family.

Four hundred other shoppers will each receive one Tune Money Prepaid Visa Card worth RM100 as consolation prizes upon submission of their completed card application forms and identification documents.
