IT was a night of great food, superb performances and charitable giving for Dijaya Corporation Bhd, TT Resources Bhd and Palmgold Corporation Sdn Bhd when they celebrated their annual dinner recently.
The Tropicana grand ballroom at the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort was transformed into a glitzy splendour with more than 1,000 guests.
Celebrating the group’s success and progress in diversity, staff and guests were treated to a dinner spread by Spring Garden Chinese Restaurant and performances.

TT Resources Bhd managing director Cheak Yew Kun, Dijaya Corporation Bhd managing director Datuk Tong Kien Onn and Dijaya Corporation Bhd chairman Datuk Rohana Tan Sri Mahmood shared the accomplishments and milestones achieved by the group.
Guests also marvelled over the slideshow presentations highlighting the group’s many years of success.
The annual dinner was not just about having fun as the employees contributed RM60,000 to three charity organisations, namely Agathians Shelter, Rumah Orang-Orang Tua Seri Setia and Yayasan Anak-Anak Yatim Pinggir Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
Guests were also entertained by violin performances by Joanne Yeoh, Rena Barr’s repertoire of popular songs, salsa numbers by Malaysian dancers Gavin Chan and Sally Oh, to spectacular acrobatic acts with mask-changing tricks from China.
There were also a young talent giving his impersonation of Michael Jackson and magic illusions by Malaysian magician Avery Chin.
In addition, the 300 employees and guests walked away with prizes from the lucky draws.
